Protecting your personal data matters to us. This policy informs you, in line with the GDPR, about the nature, scope, and purpose of processing personal data on this website.
01 — Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is processQ.io GmbH i.Gr., Charlottenstr. 14, 52070 Aachen, Germany, represented by its managing directors Thorsten Preßer and Felix Schupp.

02 — Your rights
You have the right at any time to obtain free information about the personal data we store about you and to request its rectification or erasure. You may also request restriction of processing and portability of your data, and object to processing.
You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority – the competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.

03 — Access data & server logs
When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically collects information transmitted by your browser (server log files): browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, time of the request, and the IP address in shortened form.
This data is technically necessary to deliver the website correctly and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. No merging with other data sources and no evaluation for marketing purposes takes place.
04 — Hosting
Our website is hosted by a provider within the European Union. The provider processes the access data mentioned above exclusively on our behalf and bound by our instructions.
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the provider pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR that ensures data-protection-compliant handling.
05 — Fonts & scripts
This website uses exclusively locally hosted fonts (Sora, IBM Plex Sans, IBM Plex Mono) and scripts. No content is loaded from content delivery networks or third parties such as Google Fonts.
As a result, simply viewing the site establishes no connection to third-party servers and your IP address is not transmitted to external providers.
06 — Contact & demo request
If you send us an enquiry via the demo request form or by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, company, email address, team size, and your message) to handle your request and for follow-up questions.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract) or (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent it.
07 — Cookies
Our website uses exclusively technically necessary cookies or local storage required to operate the site (e.g. to store your analytics opt-out). These do not require consent.
We do not use cookies for analytics, tracking, or advertising purposes. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings or restrict their storage.
08 — Web analytics (Matomo)
To improve our offering, we analyse the use of this website with the open-source software Matomo, which we operate ourselves on our own infrastructure within the EU. No data is transferred to third parties; the analysis takes place entirely under our control and exclusively via our own domain.
The measurement is designed to be privacy-friendly: no cookies are set, your IP address is shortened (anonymised) before any storage, and a “Do Not Track” signal sent by your browser is respected. Recognising individual persons is therefore not possible. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in statistical, data-minimising audience measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You can object to the collection at any time: disable tracking here (opt-out). The objection is stored locally in your browser; you can re-enable collection.
